The first Northern Lights of the season

The first Northern Lights of the season were seen last night just before midnight. They stopped very briefly this time.

The leading Northern Lights experts expect considerable Northern Lights activity this season with a multi-colored twist, as often happens when the Solar Activity is at the minimum of the Solar Activity’s 11-year cycle. We can expect many coronal halos in the near future, but they emit more material for the light shows. It is also worth noting that “STEVE”, the newest member of the Northern Lights family with its purple hue, is usually best seen at either end of the season.
