Sun Activity is high and that means lot of Sunspots that can explode. When sunspot explode it hurls extra particles away from the surface of the Sun and it is like cannonball. It can be Earth directed or not. If it is Earth directed if can ignite big Auroras when the particles appear here in our magnetic field.
